Baking Hot

As most of you know, I am a photographer. A good bit of my day is consumed with taking photos. I am not able to get online, as much as I would like to. So while today is a free day, I thought I would keep you posted on what I was doing.

It’s a beautiful day outside today. But inside it is really a scorcher. I Have been baking for the last two hours and now my diner will be made in the oven. and I have to say, it’s like and oven in here. :)

I think spring has finally arrived, and I love it. But it makes baking a really difficult task in this heat. I think it’s time to bring out the Crockpot to do all of my Cooking and baking in. Stir frys are also a good idea.

I do most of my cooking and baking by hand, from scratch. I believe it’s the only way to cook, and eat. When you buy those prepackaged foods they have so many things in there we really shouldn’t be eating. It’s just healthier and taste better when making your own.

So how do you cook and bake, in the summer heat?

I hope you all are enjoying your spring. Have a good one.

Some Whys!

Got Bored. Started Thinking. Why?

Why do people order double cheeseburgers, large fries, and a diet coke?
Why don’t you ever see the headline “Psychic Wins Lottery”?
Why is “abbreviated” such a long word?
Why Do coffins have lifetime guarantees?

A Day Dream

A Day Dream (March 5, 1844) EMILY BRONTË’S POETRY

On a sunny brae alone I lay
One summer afternoon;
It was the marriage-time of May
With her young lover, June.
From her Mother’s heart seemed loath to part
That queen of bridal charms, Read the rest of this entry » [Mary, The Review Cottage]
